Musa Keys drops his debut Album TAYO

The Amapiano artist Musa Keys has finally released his album, with 8 tracks and a variety of features. The Album Tayo is a well curated body of work which he says he has been working on his whole life.


Musa Keys accelerated to the top of mainstream Amapiano scene in 2020 after the single ‘Samarian Boy’ which reached over 6 million streams across major digital platforms. ‘Vua Mlomo’ - his other single solidified his status as a hitmaker with a promising career ahead. This made his fans all the more excited to hear his debut album.


The album features artists such as Moonchild Sanelly, Sir Trill, Nobantu Vilakazi, Sino Msolo, Thando Nkosi, Babalwa M, Aymos and more. The album includes previously released tracks like ‘Vula Mlom’, ‘Wena’ and ‘Thando Lwami.


Tayo is an album that has been curated in Musa Key’s own style and elements of nostalgic sounds.


In an interview Musa keys says - “I have been working on this debut album basically my entire life. All my experiences, inspirations and triumphant moments are all breathed and put into this project with the hope that it shall bring joy and happiness to the many lives the music touches. That is my gift to the world.”


The album starts off with ‘Selema (Po Po)’, featuring Loui. The song is soulful, and effortlessly touches the musician’s desire to dominate the music scene in Africa. It sets a good quality of sonics that the remaining 7 tracks follow.
